Share and Share Alike

Since we all have the VMX machine.  Wouldn't it be great that when we download a program we then upload a program for other stations.  This reciprical arrangement means that we all benefit.

Sounds good in theory, but

Sounds good in theory, but in all honesty a lot of the smaller stations - ours included - do not always have soemthing to share. We have regular holes in our program schedules that need filling, and using VMX is a huge help in that effort. We download several programs per week - most of which is produced around Burlington, and are of statewide interest. Our station might have a few programs per month that are of statewide or regional interest for sharing.

I agree that we should all be using VMX to distribute more widely, but it's not always plausible.
