Problems with downloads

I just received a phone call from a producer telling me that an AMO had problems downloading a program that VCAM uploaded. I can't begin to talk about the problems this could cause, not the least of which is the appearance that we are not all on the same team. If there is a problem or issue, please post it to the Technical Problems page of this site, and keep all correspondance there. It serves no purpose to include a producer in the matter, as they have nothing to do with the process of sharing files over the VMX.

In addition, just as all of you out there in VMX land do, VCAM takes care to make sure all programs we upload are stable, and in their entirety. The producer stated that the AMO in question said, "It's a problem at VCAM's end..." C'mon folks, we are not in the business of placing blame, we are in the business of finding solutions. The fact is, Pando has a severe influence on this process, and regardless of what was uploaded, downloads can be truncated or corrupt in the network transfer.

In my opinion, it's unporfessional and irresponsible to imply to a producer that another AMO is doing something wrong. If you have an issue, contact the AMO or post to this board.
