New program submission

Nov 4: 

I tried to complete the submission process for two new shows, with name, metadata, download link, etc.  When I clicked the submit button, the program went to "working on it" mode, then the window went blank. No content appeared in the window again, even after several  minutes.  The programs did not come up in the available shows list.

Unfortunately this is an intermittent issue with our web host. I have been trying to resolve it with them for some time. We just made some further adjustments, and I hope this is fixed.

I just tested and submitting a program worked fine.

Please retry and respond here if you have any more issues with this.

I have been working with the webhost, and they have doubled our memory and other related settings that are slowing things down. I have checked the logs and it looks like the last time there was an issue was November 7th. Either that means no one has been submitting anything or that it's working better.

Please let me know if you continue to experience issues.

I told Emily about this. It has to do with the database file and she knows how to reset it. We have had this issue happen a few times. Emily said she will get to it tomorrow (Wed).

The VMX website does not seem

The VMX website does not seem to update the submitted programs. I tried to submit Peter Galbraith's program but it does not appear on the website. However, it appeared in the New Content from Vermont Media Exchange email message I received last night.

I've tried to submit another program this morning, but have the same problem.

I'm not sure why this is happening to you. I successfully loaded and published several shows on Friday, as I see you did, and a show yesterday, as I see you did. All my shows show up on the site, as well as the email. If you do a search for the show you tried to upload yesterday, does it show up on the list now? Or is it still missing?
