Studio Lighting
Channel 17 is investigating changes to our studio lighting system. We currently use high wattage incandescent and are looking for success stories and associated brands, of the newer, cooler flourescent lights?
Can anyone offer some insights?, brands to look at? Are they durable? Do the bulbs last?
Thanks,
Rob Reiber
Election Plans
Channel 17 is beginning to plot out our Primary and General election coverage and wanted to be able to incorporate what other stations have planned in our approach. (Hopefully that works reciprocally too!). We are planning on hosting US Senate (D) Candidates on Monday, 7/26, followed by US Congress Candidates (GOP), then on Tuesday, 7/27, Democratic Candidates for Lt. Gov. followed by Democratic Governor Candidates. Weds, 7/28, .GOP Sec. of State Candidates followed by GOP Lt. Gov Candidates. VMX has been a great asset to statewide coverage of candidates and issues, and we appreciate everyone's posting to it as we will continue to do so. Our website will have 'primary' and 'general' election pages and we are happy to aggregate the statewide coverage by access stations for both of these elections cycles, just let us know your plans.
Thanks,
Rob

Hello All,
Seeing if anyone might have unused Firestore equipment that they would like to sell or give? away.
Specifically, Channel 17 in Burlington is looking for the Firestore Digital Video Hard Disk Drive (FSHDD-1), 80 GB, 369 minutes. If you have hard disk drives you don't want or the entire unit (Firestore FS-3) plus drive that you would be interested in losing, let me know.
